These blankets, in our Vocal Booth series, have a thinner outer layer of fabric than our moving blankets that let sound in so it can be absorbed in the interior of the design. The blankets are filled with sound-absorptive recycled cotton fibers with the outer material made from cotton-mix fabric. These also have a two-inch parallel vertical stitching. This specific stitching design allows the blankets to expand and contract more than the tried-and-true zig-zag lock stitch seen in our classic moving blankets. This allows the soundproofed blanket to accommodate your space, and also assume a thicker form which would allow for optimal sound absorption.
